Treat or Cheat is a dynamic and entertaining card game where players take on the role of family members rushing their beloved pets through overcrowded animal clinics and hospitals. With medical facilities packed and long queues forming, players must strategically place their patient and relative cards in line, deciding whether to follow the rules or sneakily cut ahead to get treatment faster. Each decision involves calculated risks: follow the rules and face long waits, even pushed out of the queue! Or cut the line and risk penalties. The gameplay is centered around card management, players plays Patient and Relative Cards, and Triage Cards. Each round challenges players to use their wits, adapt to changing scenarios, and capitalize on their turns to either queue up or queue jump. The game’s unique "downgrade referral" mechanism adds a layer of strategy, as failing to manage the queue properly might result in setbacks for your pets, pushing them downgrade to the priority medical faility. And when a patient’s condition is too severe, patient had to be referred to another medical facility, and earns a Referral Reward Card. These reward cards not only give players extra points during scoring, but adds strategic depth to the game, giving players more options to handle unexpected situations and enhancing the challenge and variability of gameplay.
